Flatten Abs Exercises and Finally Tone Up Stomach Losing Belly Fat Easy
Diet Soda = “Diet Death Cocktail”, plus good substitutes for WEIGHT LOSS?
Well since the Holidays are here, and pretty much ANY time your ANYwhere your bound to run across sweets and of course soda….
WARNING: DIET SODA is DEADLY
We all know by now that soda (aka “pop” , depending on where you live) is by far the most EVIL things you can possibly ingest and drink … although you may not be aware, you’ll learn that inside this diet soda stuff there are nasty chemicals, the gut-bulging Fructose stuff ( you know the corn syrup stuff that pretty much every can has in it), and along with that come loads of problems (health related) caused primarily by this Carbonated Death Cocktail, put on the altar and worshiped by those that don’t really give a crap about their appearance, health or much else probably as the cycle naturally digresses from there.
IF your reading this page right now, I’m pretty certain you actually do care about your health and the overall look/feel of your body and keeping things in check so your running at 110% optimum performance…
If you didn’t know this already – It is extremely hard to lose body fat if you’re consuming any type of soda (even if you workout very hard like Gladiator). Plus it will also be causing wild blood sugar swings and insulin surges promoting direct body fat deposition, drinking diet soda also increases other unfavorable likelihoods in your cravings and other things.
I like to think of my body as a machine, and the performance and processing power of my mind and energy levels are dependent on the foods and beverages I take in, so why would you drink stuff that totally throws this off and make your body operate at half it’s optimum levels.
Surprisingly, it’s ridiculous that too many people out there believe that “diet” soda is in some way a good thing for losing body fat. In fact, I hear people all the time proudly state that they eat so healthy and only drink diet soda, well – your only kidding yourself.
So let’s set the record straight…
I’m going to lay in on you, and tell it like it is. There is absolutely NOTHING at all healthy about drinking diet soda. In fact, there have been many documented studies showing dedicated diet soda drinkers got even FATTER than their regular soda drinking counterparts. Does that make you wonder why? Wait! So “diet” is actually quite the contrary than what you often thought it mean. Shame on you FDA.
Here is something that will perk your ears up… from an 8-year University of Texas study that I recently stumbled upon…
Here you can read an excerpt from the author of this study:
“What didn’t surprise us was that total soft drink use was linked to overweight and obesity,” Fowler tells WebMD. “What was surprising was when we looked at people only drinking diet soft drinks, their risk of obesity was even higher.”
“There was a 41 percent increase in risk of being overweight for every can or bottle of diet soft drink a person consumes each day,” Fowler says.
Ok, as if we didn’t already know how bad regular soda was for us, and now they’re showing us studies that diet soda makes us even fatter than the already bad stuff! There’s a lot of complicating factors as to why this occurs…
One reason is that the artificial sweeteners in diet sodas create a negative hormonal response in the body that increases fat storing hormone production and increases cravings for more sweets and refined carbohydrates in the time period after consuming the diet drink.
Another reason is that people may subconsciously think that because they are drinking a diet soda, that gives them more leeway to eat more of everything else, hence consuming more calories overall.
I’ve said this all along, but the bottom line is that if you’re serious about your health and body, soda of any kind (and artificial sweeteners in anything for that matter!) should be avoided at all times, except for very rare occasions when you can’t avoid them.
Artificial sweeteners and the massive list of products sweetened with them are marketed to you daily non-stop as “healthy foods” or “healthier” than sugar or corn syrup sweetened products. But are they really? Let’s think again
Just to give you a better idea on this, some of the most popular artificial sweeteners out there today are:
* Splenda (sucralose)
* Aspartame
* Saccharine
* Acesulfame Potassium (aka – acesulfame K)
These artificial sweeteners are used in abundance in almost every “diet” drink, “lite” yogurts, puddings, and ice creams, most “low-carb” products, and almost all “reduced-sugar” products. Heck, even most protein powders are loaded with artificial sweeteners too (just look on the ingredients and you’ll usually see one of them).
So what is a good alternative to diet sodas?
well, obviously there is always the usual ways to flatten abs like ab exercises, but there are often so many and it can be confusing as to which will really get you the results your searching for.
My personal favorite is to just incorporate some fresh juices and smoothies into my diet, and they are really really tasty and there are tons of recipes online,
and even better you can pick up some sort of juicer that squeezes out high quality nutrients so you get top quality liquids to maximize your performance while you lose weight.
After a lot of trial and error with different methods, the TOP alternatives are plain old water + lemon or unsweetened iced teas… (check those labels) you have plenty of options with teas – green, white, black, oolong, red… be creative in making your iced teas and you’ll have a lot more fun. Plus you’ll get a more diverse array of antioxidants which are great if you are burning fat by the way.
I just add a little of the natural non-caloric sweetener stevia to my iced teas and I love them. Stevia is actually the best solution if you need to sweeten things up and it’s going to cause the least damage – because of course it’s all natural and raw. 🙂 I usually pop a packet of stevia into a nice hot cup of green tea, when I’m burning down that fat layer… Hope you enjoyed this post…
